Document Delivery Service is a service provided by libraries to borrow materials from another library on behalf of a patron when the originating library does not own the material.

ASITS provide Academia Sinica staff with document via OCLC fee-based and Rapid ILL system. The steps of application are as follows,

1. Things to Check Before You Place an DDS Request - Checking Library Catalog

Only the material you need is not available from Sinica or Taiwan, you may request it through Document Delivery Service. Before placing an Document Delivery Service request, please check Sinica's holdings by connecting to Academia Sinica Library Catalog or Interlibrary loan system. If Sinica has the material you request, please contact specific institutes directly for obtaining the materials. If you search any material you want from Interlibraryloan system, please ask your institutes for assistance of acquiring material.

If the materials you request are not held by Sinica and in Interlibrary system, please connect to Libarary Catalogs of UCB for checking whether they hold the material you request or not. If UCB and other has the material you request and you could submit your request form to us.
